Hi, I'm Francesca.

I was born in Italy and came here when I was 7 years old. My parents fell in love with America, so we stayed. I became a citizen when I turned 21!

At first, I did gig work for extra money. But, eventually, I quit my full-time managerial position of 12 years to do this full-time. I like not having a boss and making my own hours! It helps immensely with a 4-year-old!

My favorite thing about being a gig worker is finding those regulars. I have a family that orders Walmart grocery orders and every time I see it’s their address, I get very excited. They have the cutest dog and they are always so sweet! I am saving up to get my daughter and I our own place, and possibly finish up my education degree. I only have 4 classes left!

Moves helped by providing me with the funds I needed to fix my car. I don’t like asking friends/family for money, and Moves helps without making me feel embarrassed.

I was raised in Virginia, spent over a decade in Chicago, then moved to Nashville to live with my boyfriend. I’ve got two dogs that are the lights of my life, and two cats that are pretty cool (but not as cool as the dogs).

I started delivering for Instacart in Chicago so I could make my schedule around a busy Airbnb that I managed, then started doing Uber Eats, Doordash, and Postmates during the pandemic, and recently moved over to doing primarily Amazon Flex.

My favorite thing is making my own schedule and traveling around different towns — rural Tennessee is so pretty! My least favorite thing is sudden downpours of rain and unexpected car repairs. In the future, I’d love to buy a house with a few acres and start a small farm.

My name is Deonta Jones. I turned 23 in July and I am expecting my second child! My first is a girl, she’s a year old now and my second is going to be a boy. We have recently relocated from Georgia to Las Vegas!!

My favourite thing about being an Uber driver is the driving, but the hardest part is the fact that I need a tuneup. Moves has helped me tremendously because just when I thought everything was over and I didn’t have anywhere to go or anybody to ask help from, Moves was there for me.

I'm from Southern Indiana. Born and raised. I have 2 kids and a Boyfriend. I lost my job in December of 2019 as a Store Manager and decided it was as best a time as any to start my own delivery business. I started out with Instacart, then came GrubHub and Point Pickup. I love working for myself and now having the time to spend with family. That time is invaluable and I will never sacrifice it again for anything.

Time management is definitely the most difficult thing about gig work. Especially when you are trying to figure out how to arrange your schedule to make the most out of the different apps. My favorite is helping people. I am a people pleaser at heart and love to be able to provide such a service to my community.

I am currently trying to purchase our first home! Beyond that, my aspirations are just to raise a happy and healthy family.

Moves has been invaluable when things have gotten tight. I have 2 kids that are extremely expensive, so when projects or plays come up last minute, I know Moves has my back!
